Although having one of the lowest cremation fees in the United Kingdom the Board has already agreed a financial strategy to take it through to 2013 which includes the installation, at a cost exceeding 1.25 million pounds, of equipment to eliminate the emission into the atmosphere of mercury emanating from the amalgam in tooth fillings.
